College of Fine Arts Living-Learning Community Kickoff

CFA students, start the year with your creative community. Your Living-Learning Community Kickoff is your first required Living-Learning Community event during Weeks of Welcome and a chance to meet other students who are ready to create, perform, design, and grow. 
 
Who should attend: All first-year College of Fine Arts students on campus, whether or not you live in Schmidt/Wilson. 
 
When and where: Tuesday, August 18, from 4:30–5:30 p.m. at Schmidt/Wilson Residence Hall. Enter through the main Schmidt/Wilson entrance and follow signs or staff directions to the kickoff space. 
 
You’ll meet your Academic Peer Mentors, Maria Alejandra Roa Cristancho and Atticus Failes, connect with first-year students in art, music, theatre, dance, music education, music performance, animation, studio art, and other fine arts pathways, and enjoy Frozen Boulder Dippin Dots while you learn how the CFA LLC can help you find your people, explore your creative goals, and build confidence at Ball State. 
 
LLC T-Shirt note: This event is the only time this year that you can claim your Living-Learning Community T-Shirt. You’ll scan a QR code at the kickoff to choose your shirt design and size, and APMs will begin delivering shirts during the first week of classes.
