CCIM Living-Learning Community Kickoff

CCIM students, start building your creative and communication community here. Your Living-Learning Community Kickoff is your first required Living-Learning Community event during Weeks of Welcome and your chance to meet people connected to your academic community. 
 
Who should attend: All first-year CCIM students on campus, whether or not you live in Botsford/Swinford. 
 
When and where: Tuesday, August 18, from 4:30–5:30 p.m. in the Botsford/Swinford Lobby. Enter through the main Botsford/Swinford entrance and look for the check-in area in the lobby. 
 
You’ll meet your Academic Peer Mentors, Gretchen Harper and Aaron Hicks, connect with other first-year students in communication studies, journalism, media, strategic communication, public relations, advertising, cybersecurity, computer and information technology, and related CCIM majors, and enjoy Barking Cow Ice Cream while you learn how your LLC supports belonging, lifelong learning, and success in your field. 
 
LLC T-Shirt note: This event is the only time this year that you can claim your Living-Learning Community T-Shirt. You’ll scan a QR code at the kickoff to choose your shirt design and size, and APMs will begin delivering shirts during the first week of classes.
