Design Living-Learning Community Kickoff

Design students, your ideas start here. Your Living-Learning Community Kickoff is your first required Living-Learning Community event during Weeks of Welcome and the place to meet your design community on campus. 
 
Who should attend: All first-year Design students on campus, whether or not you live in North West Residence Hall. 
 
When and where: Tuesday, August 18, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. outside North West Residence Hall. Use the North Residential Neighborhood / North West Residence Hall entrance and follow signs or staff directions to the outdoor setup. 
 
You’ll meet your Academic Peer Mentor, JaMaelyn Sanders, connect with first-year students in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, interior design, construction management, environmental design, and related design majors, and enjoy Kona Ice while you learn how the Design LLC supports creativity, collaboration, and belonging. 
 
LLC T-Shirt note: This event is the only time this year that you can claim your Living-Learning Community T-Shirt. You’ll scan a QR code at the kickoff to choose your shirt design and size, and APMs will begin delivering shirts during the first week of classes.
