Kinesiology students, come meet the people who move with purpose. Your Living-Learning Community Kickoff is your first required Living-Learning Community event during Weeks of Welcome and a chance to connect with others who share your interest in movement, health, sport, and wellness.

Who should attend: All first-year Kinesiology students on campus, whether or not you live in Studebaker East.

When and where: Tuesday, August 18, from 5:30–6:30 p.m. outside Studebaker East Hall at 1301 W. Neely Ave. Enter the Studebaker East area and follow signs or staff directions to the outdoor event setup.

You’ll meet your Academic Peer Mentor, Lucia Clark, connect with first-year students in exercise science, sport administration, physical education and health, aquatics, and related kinesiology pathways, and enjoy Kona Ice while you learn how your LLC can support belonging, well-being, and academic success.

LLC T-Shirt note: This event is the only time this year that you can claim your Living-Learning Community T-Shirt. You’ll scan a QR code at the kickoff to choose your shirt design and size, and APMs will begin delivering shirts during the first week of classes.
